The Abbasiya branch committee of KKMA organized their annual general body meeting on Friday, 1st May 2009 at KKMA Community Hall.  The program was attended by a large number of members of the Unit.

The first session of the meeting was inaugurated by AP Abdul Salam, the Working President of KKMA and the day's speech by Abdul Fatah Thayyil, KKMA General Secretary.  Janab Abdulla Choori, Branch Vice President presided over the meeting.  Ibrahim Kunnil, K. Basheer and KC Rafeek felicitated the general body on the occasion.  Zainudheen Randathani, branch treasurer welcomed the gathering while Majeed Rawabi proposed vote of thanks.

The Second session started after Maghrib prayer was inaugurated by Akbar Siddique, the vice chairman of KKMA and Sageer Trikarpur, chairman of KKMA gave a speech about the organizational activities.  Annual report was presented by Shaheed Labba, branch general secretary. Audited finance reprot was presented by Zainuddin Randathani.  

OM Shafi, branch president presided over the function while V.H. Mustafa welcome speech and Husain Randathani proposed vote of thanks.  Hamza Payyanur, Shukoor Maniyanodi, Rayin Kutty Hajee, KH Mohammad Kunhi, Zam Zam Rasheed felicitated. The branch also felicitated the team members of various sports activities, namely football, cricket and basket ball by distributing merit certificates to all of them.
