Farwaniya Zone Active Workers Conference
The KKMA Active Workers Conference organized
by the Farwaniya Zonal Committee was a grand success. Held at KKMA
Community Hall on Friday, 6th February was attended by more than 200 leaders
from Farwaniya, Abbasiya, Hasawi, Sabhan and Khaitan branch committees.

Investment General Body announces NRI Township Program
Kwait - The Investment Club of Kuwait Kerala Muslim
Association held its annual general body meeting at KKMA Community Hall in
Jleeb on 23 January 2009.
The IC Club has accomplished most of its
initial objectives set for the last two years period, said Sageer Trikarpur,
Chairman of KKMA. Addressing the members of KKMA Investment Club,
Sageer also mentioned that KKMA IC will initiate a NRI Township Project for
the low income group of non resident Indians.

City Zonal Active Conference Grand Success
Kuwait - The Kuwait Kerala Muslim
Association, leading social welfare organization of Indians in Kuwait
organized an Active Worker’s Conference on Friday, 16 January 2009. The
program coordinated by the City Zonal Committee was held at KKMA Community
Hall.
The event conducted as part of KKMA’s ongoing program to train active
workers of the Association in leadership values and teamwork capabilities
was attended by branch executives from City, Hawally, Jahra, Salmiya and
Dakshina Kannada branch committees of City Zone.

Kidney Dialysis Center at Calicut completes 10,000 treatment procedures
The KKMA - IQRAA Kidney Dialysis Center
completed 10,960 dialysis services in the year 2008. This Project is
part of KKMA's noble no profit charitable project established in three
districts of Kerala State, namely Calicut, Malappuram and Trichur.
The press release from KDC Calicut said that
out of these 10,960 procedures 231 cases were treated fully free of charge.

Community Center opened at Jleeb Park on Friday, 5th December 2008. Mr.
Mohammad Shameem, Managing Director of Logics Technologies
inaugurated the function. Mr. Ramesh T.A., general manager of
Gulf Mart, Apsara Mahmoud, Managing Director of Apsara Bazar also
were present.

Inter branch Volleyball Tournament

The Sports Wing of Kuwait Kerala Muslim
Association (KKMA) celebrated the season by organizing its first ever Inter
branch Volleyball tournament dubbed as KKMA Challengers Cup 2009.
The full day event held on Friday, 2nd January
2009 at Indian community school Khaitan was inaugurated by Mr. Pancly Varkey,
Country Manager of UAE Exchange Center. He also took the guard of honor for
the first match between DK Blue Warriors versus Abbasiya Tigers. Mr. Ram Das,
Marketing manager UAE, Shabeer Mandoly, managing director of Photo Me also
were present.

City Branch AW Workshop
Kuwait – The Kuwait City Branch of
KKMA conducted a one day leadership workshop on Friday, 26 December
2008. The workshop titled Successful Leadership was attended by all
the Executive Members of the branch.
The program began with a Holy Quran
Recitation by Salman Aslam. Branch General Secretary K.C.
Kareem welcomed the participants and the Branch President KK Abdulla
presided over the function and explained program.

fantastic people, terrific weather and a marvelous time
with delicious food, fun activities and lots of prizes, made
the event an
unforgettable day. The
organizers took great care to ensure maximum fun
and enjoyment for all ages. It was the best way to celebrate Eid
holiday with friends
and family members; an easy
way to know each other in a relaxed sitting.
The variety of activities gave the
families a chance to socialize and get close to
