KKMA launches new Kidney Center in Trivandrum

Kuwait:
Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), the leading social welfare
organization of Indian nationals in Kuwait has opened its SIXTH charitable
KKMA Kidney Dialysis Center (KDC) in Trivandrum, capital city of Kerala
State.
Mr. Oomman
Chandy, honorable opposition leader of Kerala Legislative Assembly
inaugurated the Kidney Center established by KKMA in association with Al
Arif Hospital in Trivandrum on Friday, April 16, 2010.
In his inauguration speech, Chandy expressed his happiness to be part
of such a socially important projects of KKMA conducted for the welfare of
NRIs in Kuwait as well as the people of Kerala in general.

World Peace:
KKMA Drawing Contest Award Ceremony
Jubilant United Indian School won KKMA-Tiffany Trophy
Kuwait:
Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), the largest organization of
Indian nationals in Kuwait concluded its 2009 World Peace KKMA-Tiffany
drawing contest with a colorful award ceremony.
The contest was organized under the kind patronage of His Excellency
Mr. Ajai Malhotra, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait.
A total of 56 best performers and highest scoring schools have been
conferred with trophies and certificates in a spectacular evening program
which was attended by the school children, teachers, parents and general

The
Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA)
today announced the winners of the KKMA-Tiffany
grand final drawing contest held for students of
Indian schools in Kuwait.
The winners were chosen based on a grading
matrix and announced in three categories of
Excellent, Merit and Recognition awards from each
category respectively.

Spirit of art, love for peace and nature
KKMA Drawing Contest a grand success!
Kuwait -- The grand finale of 2010 KKMA-Tiffany
Children’s Drawing Contest organized by Kuwait
Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA) was held on 15
January 2010 at Kuwait Indian School in Jleeb.
The contest held open to all students of Indian
Schools in Kuwait was divided into four categories -
Primary School (Class 1 to IV), Upper Primary School
(Class V to VII), Secondary School (Class VIII to
Class X), and Senior Secondary School (Class XI and
Class XII).
One thousand finalists, selected from 3000 first
round contestants from 18 Indian schools in Kuwait,
participated in the on-the-spot final contest.
Participants were requested to draw pictures
on different subjects according to their age group
based on contest theme of ‘world peace’.
The primary students were requested to draw a
beautiful garden, while the upper primary students
drew a scene from their village.
The secondary students were given a topic of
a clean city while the senior secondary students
have illustrated their dream on a peaceful world.

weather
Indian community living in Kuwait celebrated Eid Al Adha in a big
way as "Eid Milan Day" to rally support for the noble charitable
activity. The Eid Milan is an annual event organized by Kuwait

EMERGE AS WINNERS
The grand finale of KKMA's Inter
Zone Arts Fest was held on Thursday and Friday, 23rd and 24th of
October 2009 at Community Hall in Jleeb. The Farwaniya
Zone gaining 185 pointes emerged as winners. Ahmadi zone
with 135 pointes secured 2nd place whereas the City zone with
110 points satisfied with 3rd position.

Ramadan Majlis A
show to build spiritual strength

Kuwait - “Fasting
in Ramadan strengthens social belonging of unity and
brotherhood”, said Ajai Malhotra, the Ambassador of
India to Kuwait. Inaugurating the Ramadan Majlis
hosted by Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association, an
expatriate Association of Indians in Kuwait,
Ambassador mentioned that the month of fasting help
developing self-restraint, self-purification,
compassion, the spirit of caring and sharing, and
the love of humanity.

Cooking Contest and Exhibition for Indian ladies
last Friday, 15 May 2009 had a good time. The
amateur cooking competition for Indian housewives
was conducted by Indian Muslim Ladies Association (IMLA),
the women’s wing of Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association
(KKMA), the largest socio cultural organization of
Indian nationals in Kuwait.

KKMA's Fourth Kidney Center opened in Mangalore
It
was a dream come true for the members and well
wishers of Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA.
We have made it happen. Our fourth edition of Kidney
Dialysis Center is now open in Father Muller
Hospital in Mangalore.
KKMA has dedicated two
Kidney Dialysis machines to the Fr.Muller's Hospital
in Mangalore for serving the poor dialysis patients.
It was inaugurated jointly by philanthropist, NRI
businessman Padmashree Dr B R Shetty and Mr. Salah
Othman Al Othman, former Ambassador of Kuwait to
Pakistan at an elegant function held in Fr. Muller
Hospital.

IMLA to unite for good
Kuwait
City – The Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), the leading
social welfare organization of Indian nationals in Kuwait launched
its women’s organization IMLA (Indian Muslim Ladies Association) on
the 3rd of April, 2009 along with varieties of programme.
The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Muhsina
Abdul Muneer. Mrs. Nameera Isham, General Secretary of IMLA,
welcomed the attendees.
The event was presided over by Mrs. Arifa Abdul Fatah, President
of IMLA. She gave a brief sketch of the vision and the future plans
of IMLA. She urged the women to unite for good and actively
participate in all the program’s which IMLA would be conducting in
the coming months.

On
March 25, 2009, the Management Team of KKMA paid a visit to the
Ambassador of India. The aim of this visit was to greet the newly
appointed Ambassador and request his support and guidance for the
activities of the Association.
Ambassador Ajai Malhotra welcomed the delegates and said that his
high office will continue efforts to enhance consular and community
welfare services for the Indian community in Kuwait. He particularly mentioned that the services
of labor welfare section of the embassy will be made available on
24/7 hours basis.

KKMA Investment Club Launched New Project
Kuwait City - The
KKMA Investment Club launched its new real estate project in Kuwait last Friday.
The IC intend to construct a nine (9) storey apartment building in Farwaniya within next one year period.
Farwaniya Project is
the 2nd apartment project of KKMA IC, first being an 15 storey
apartment building in Kannur, Kerala State India.
The launching program was attended by
KKMA partners, Management Committee members and Investment Club
Working Committee members. KKMA Chairman Sageer
Trikarpur and Vice Chairman Akbar Siddique explained the project

KKMA WOMEN'S WING - A new chapter in KKMA History
KKMA Womens Wing elected
new office bearers. The Executive Council meeting of KKMA
Women Wing held on 6th March 2009 elected its new office bearers for
the next two years period.
The
sports and socio-cultural affairs unit of Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association
(KKMA) hosted the annual inter-branch cricket tournament, ‘Kuwait
Independence cup – 2009’, on Wednesday February 25.
